About

About this Guide

Use this guide to help you understand what information literacy is and how to become information literate. Information literacy is essential in the creation of lifelong learners and is used to achieve success in academic studies, the workplace, and other aspects of life. Being able to navigate information resources, no matter the form of existence, and the ability to evaluate the information found in these resources, are skills that will serve citizens of the present and the future well (Rogers).
